Best PISTOL dot sight for target shooting? - 10/04/19 01:27 AM

Not for action shooting, for shooting groups and long range.

common man money. Been doing some research , need to see if yall have experience with these sights, will go on a picatinny rail.

Leupold 4x

Dots aren’t great for groups and long range.... anything.

For the price point and it is a little more robust according to the TAF folks

Best "dot" scope? For shooting groups and long range? This does not compute. But, if I'm putting a dot scope on a pistol and not for action competition, I'd slap a TRS25 on it and call it good. 3 MOA dot.

best dot scope for pistol shooting is probably the C-more. i love mine

I use a Burris FF3 on my S&W 460 XVR. It holds a 3 inch group at 100 yards with the 3moa dot. I’ve shot it out to 200 yards, 4 out of 5 hits landed on a 6 inch steel plate. Good enough for me to hunt with and has handled that recoil like a champ.

Got a Vortex Venom 3min dot Nice to 140 yards .Thats as far as my range is. Very nice sight.

I went with this one also. Got a great deal at Cabelas plus my points. Took forever and the Cabelas "system" sux.

I have a FF3 and a RM-06. Hands down the Trijicon wins on dot acquisition for me
