Hawke scopes - 02/10/19 10:18 PM
On another forum I frequent , there’s a good bit of positive chatter about these scopes. Never seen one and don’t know a soul that has one. Is this just another low level scope (Tasco, BSA, Centerpoint, etc.)? Anything special about them? I’m guessing that it’s an Ok scope for a low price, but that is just a guess.

i have thier 2-7x on my Beeman Springer air rifle.
look on Pyramid Air for tons of reviews
They're super popular in the air rifle world. Their crossbow scope is also considered to be one of the best in its class.
They might be ok for BB guns and crossbows but when I looked at them in recent times during a marketing push it was an easy PASS

Hawke makes durable airgun scopes that last longer than most of their competitiors on spring air rifles. They also make reticles specificallyvfor air rifles.
Might not be #1 for clarity for long range shooting, but inside 100 yards they are good airgun scopes.
Believe it or not, a fellow won worlds in HFT awhile back with a UTG scoped chinese springer, customized with an LW barrel. At that level he probably competed against guys using schmidt/bender and etc. end of the day it's the nut behind the trigger!
You could do a lot worse than Hawke for sure.

For Airrifles and crossbows they are good bang for the buck. No experience with one on a rifle. Several of the big crossbow manufactures sell scopes with their name on then but the scopes are Hawke scopes. I would bet more have Hawke scopes than realize it if they have a crossbow.
I was speaking on the new rifle scopes , they mostly suck if you like clear glass
