I alreay have used a 30-30 Marlin. I've put scopes on slug guns with heavy recoil, and muzzle loaders and never had a problem. I recently put a scope on a 30-06 and it is moving around. Any tips on this issue? Thanks. Using Weaver style rings.

What did you torque them to?
If they are torqued to spec, it may be time to order a scope ring lapping kit. Once they're lapped, toque the screws back down and try again. Also, I always make sure and clean the packing oil off the rings and the ring screws, then apply a drop of low strength LockTite to the screws, prior to installation.
