Scope options for lever 308?

I have an older Savage 99 that I hunt with. I mainly hunt brushy areas of MO, so my shots are 20-100yds max. So smaller magnification works better for me. What is a decent (affordable) Scope for me? I was thinking 2-7x.

I do live close to SWFA, so I may just need to stop in and check out the inventory
