Aadland scope covers??

Aadland scope covers?? - 05/07/18 01:25 AM

I am looking to get into some quality scope covers. Have been a butler creek fan but break too often. Aadland are 100 bucks but quality. I prefer quality over broken caps once a year with B/C. Let me know your thoughts or alternatives

Tenebrex on my Night Force have been solid. I too have broken many Butler Creek caps and will never spend another dime on them.

I break BC caps now and then, but I'll stick with them because I have about 16 different scopes. I can only break one at a time and don't want to shell out $1600 to put expensive caps on.

Tenebrex on my premier are solid. Vortex defender are really nice for the price.

Butler Creeks used to be great, but now have the durability of a potato chip.

I have tried both Tenebrex and Aadland on my Nightforces.

Both are great products, but I prefer the Aadland covers between the two.

RR,

I bought one set of Aadland for each size of scope, i.e. x42 and x56, plus one set for my wife's rifle, and just move them to the scope/rifle in use at the time.

I use my covers to protect the glass from gathering dust when NOT in use. They sit in a safe, but dust knows no boundaries in North Texas, In fact, I sometimes remove them entirely while the rifle is in use.

the Aadland caps are very good and hold up.
I love their AR scope mount as well.
