Sightmark Photon RT Review Videos - 03/08/18 09:27 PM
Hey guys I finally got these new Sightmark Photon RT review videos completed and uploaded to Youtube. It took much longer than I expected but it's finally done.
There are two different videos; a quick review and a full review. I'll admit, my reviews are long and my full review is really long.....but man there is just so much to cover, especially with the changes to the IR illuminators on the RT's. There has been a giant amount of confusion on that issue with customers and I had to spend a lot of time addressing that.
I know these reviews aren't perfect and I've already found several things I left out. I spend many many hours a week on the phone with customers and potential customers and my goal with these videos is the fully answer the questions that I hear over and over. And don't get me wrong, I love talking to customers and answering questions, but if I can answer a lot of the common questions in a review video it's good for everyone.
I've been using and selling the Photons since the very first models were released in early 2014 and they just keep getting better but maintaining their simplicity and reliability, which is a huge feat. At the end of the day, after using the Photon RT's for over 2 months and using all 4 models in the field, I can say that these are definitely a big improvement over the XT models. I still like the XT's and think they are great optics and everyone who owns an XT does not need to run out and buy an RT. If however, you'd like video recording, a super bright built in IR, external battery options, streaming etc then yes, it can be a very worthy upgrade.
If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to let me know, I'll do my best to answer. If you are looking to purchase an RT or other NV/thermal I'd love the chance to help out.
