Simmons scope warranty?

Simmons scope warranty? - 07/25/17 02:15 AM

Does anyone have experience with using simmons warranty service? I have and old 8-point that doesn't hold zero anymore. I can't find an email for them only a phone number and with my schedule I'm asleep during normal business hours so it's hard to call. The scope should be covered by their lifetime warranty. I read somewhere that for warranty work you need to include proof of purchase, I can't find that now though. The scope is like 10 years old or something like that, can't really remember what year it was bought. So that long ago I'm not going to still have a receipt. I know it was bought new and I'm the original owner just don't have proof of that. So is simmons going to give me trouble about that? Or are they pretty accommodating? Are they good with communication if it isn't under warranty?

For their price point they wouldn't be able to stay in business honoring a request like yours.

Read this - http://www.simmonsoptics.com/global/repair_services.aspx
Doesn't say anything about including receipt/pop.
Gotta include a check for $10 though - that'll actually cover the cost of a NEW one of their scopes, and still have $5 left over for 'profit' . . . roflmao

If it says they have a lifetime warranty and oldoak's link says no receipt is required, then I don't see why they wouldn't fix it or replace it for $10.

Some of yal are real pieces of work.

I have a simmons I bough a similar amount of time ago and put on our .223, it has served its purpose without issue and continues to do so.
