Leupold VX-6 7-42x56mm - 01/02/15 09:55 AM
Anyone have one? 42 power is a bit much but for $1800 with a zero stop and caps for the turrets it's convincing me to buy one.

With that mag range it will only be good for long range work. Not easy to swing on a animal while hunting under normal circumstances at 7x. If you have 1800 to spend and want a zero stop check out NF. What kinda of distance do you plan on shooting to be considering that mag range?

I have a night force and love it. Just curious about this new Leupold. I shoot long range but most of my hunting situations are between 200-600yds

The vx6, mk6 and mk8 are said to be the best stuff leupold has put out ever.

I have read nothing but good things about the VX6. I have one coming on a 6.5 creed that horizon is building. I certainly hope they live up to the reviews I have read. I fully expect the clarity to be there but am curious as to how well it will track. If the CDS works as advertised it should be a nice piece of glass for hunting.
