Any roll up garage door guys on this forum?

This dang door is impossible for anyone other than myself to open, what do I need to make it easier? I am even open to an electric drive for it. Both ends are identical.

I'm not an overhead door guy, but, have you tried greasing it?

That door have an internal spring that’s busted?

If that doesn't work you might be able to get a chain hoist add-on winder for one side. I use one like this on my 12 foot tall barn door.

I will try to adjust it when I get home from soccer practice, but I looked once before and don't recall seeing any springs or tensioners.

They should have a tensioner adjustment just inside that metal end cap. I have all 3 of mine set to where one good pull and they open all the way up (12Wx12T). Takes only 2 pills to shut it.
