Kids/Grandkids would be my guess if totally gone.

squirrels are cute but they will grab tomatoes (or peaches) and take somewhere else. My wife made me leave them alone until she saw one with a tomato or a peach, then it was they aren't that cute, handle it...

Squirrels are cute, but cuteness is in the eye of the beholder. Way back when, this place had loose goats. They were cute till they ate all my deer corn. I was gonna shoot em, but the wife said they were sooooo cute. But...one week she planted hundreds of dollars of Crepe Myrtles, and when we came back from a short trip the goats had eaten them to the ground. I asked how cute they were looking these days. She said “shut up and kill em all”. Ahhh, the smell of burnt IMR 4064....

Saw one climbing a tree with a tomato in its mouth. Looked like trained seal with a ball on its nose.

A tomato in a live or leghold trap might put an end to it.

My old man has box tortoises that get in his garden but he's cool with it.

Something got after my cucumbers. Suspect a squirrel.

Dogs will eat too. We couldn’t figure it out until we caught our Lab eating them.

My wife hates it but them little bastages in the back yard are exactly why I planted mine in my front flower bed! They’re coming along nicely! up roflmao

Squirrels. The land behind me is city owned and has water treatment stuff. They come down my fence line that has massive red tip whatever’s, drop in, Jack the tomato’s and run out. Perfect escape plan for them. Every now and then, I poke the pellet gun out of the doggie door like Home Alone and remind them what’s up.

They have left my plants alone in the front yard so far
