Ultra nice carriage on that fella
That’s a big buck! Biggest low fence buck I have ever seen in person was at Grapevine like. 12 with mass and tons of kickers. Crazy genetics around there.

I believe a bowhunter shot a 185" at Lake Grapevine 15 years ago or so. If I remember the story right it was his first time to ever bow hunt.

Steve is that off of FM 1171 407 or out near Lake Grapevine. I've seen them at all those areas before.
I'd put him on my wall! His granddaddy was a mulie!

Several years ago, a buck was killed by a Volkswagon on Southlake Blvd that still scored over 180 even after being broken up by the car. GW buddy told me about it, said it would’ve scored well over 200 when whole.
Some crazy genetics run from basically the NE side of Eagle Mountain across to Grapevine then on to Lewisville. Talked to a wildlife biologist once who said they think there’s some mineral that runs through there that grows them so big.

Have seen a stud about 10 years ago, cold Thanksgiving day walking the brushline across from Cowboys driving range towards Grapevine Gaylord direction I "meahhh'd" him to a stop and he had to have been a 150+ class 10-12pt., beautiful deer.

Looks like a mulie on the left side. Great looking buck.
