Buck on the right has a swelled up sack, he had it last year too, otherwise looks healthy. Reckon he's still good to eat?

Must not be much too any infection if he had the same problem last year and he is a returning letterman. Maybe he is just loaded.

Maybe he is just loaded.

Back when I was a younger buck myself, I often felt that way when in rut.

If he had it last year to and stayed in such good shape I'm thinking an old injury and no type of infection.
I'd say good to eat.

You want me to come ground check him for ya??

Maybe it is a testicle has water from an old infection..he will probably have it for the rest of his life. The meat should be ok. I think.

Hydrocele or a hydro cyst more than likely. Deer commonly get hydro cyst on there brisket area and can get big as a basketball. They are not cancerous. Hydrocele is fluid in the testicles . Want hurt the meat.

This. Don't think many deer turn out for the surgical process to fix it which isn't fun

We had a bull that his testicles swole up several times their normal size for no apparent reason, that i remember..... All the extra fluid build up created heat and lowered his sperm count to practically infertile... i think he probably became hamburger.

I’d be really cautious if I were you. No telling what problems that deer might have. Best thing would be for me to come by and take that deer off your hands for you. I will do you a favor and not charge anything.
