Texas game laws prohibits "discharging a firearm on or across a public road or hunt from public roads."

What if the county road passes through your property and the property line is in the center of the road.
What if the county never got an easement to put said road through the property.

Could you hunt the road from your side of the center line(private property)?

For the record I have no intention of doing this it just made me wonder.

I suspect a judge wouldn't care where or how it was located but would it be a gray area?

You pull off to the side of the road to shoot if your in the vehicle…… we have a CR running through our pasture……GW covered this territory at our annual meeting….

The county road is a separate property. That is considered trespassing by projectile.
