And I’m afraid this is him below. Agree?

Crap, sorry having trouble with the pics from this year, which are really snippets from a video from my iphone through binocs (very professional)...stand by. Alright, here he is...

Really hard to tell they look so similar I could tell what was last year this year or if all three of the pictures are from one year or the other?

Did he shrink or is that a bad leg? What’s the problem? Which pics are which year?

I know how it goes trying to post pics sometimes. We will wait.

Appears to be same buck but hard to tell. Seems to have a faint double throat patch in both.
No problem, just go find the one that did the breaking.

Yeah, about the time my son was asking "what happened to him?", he charged over and locked up with that middle aged 8 point in the first pic and whipped his butt in about 10 seconds.

I think freerange posted that before I got the 2021 pics uploaded.

Faint double throat patch; longer white streak on his left side of main throat patch on both deer; G4 began squiggle last year - more pronounced this year as an older buck - seems to be common in some of our bucks as they age; 'hitch' on tip of main beam; G3 bladed

I would say that is the same buck. On the bright side, at least he is half as likely to catch a bullet now.

I'd like to see the one that broke him off.

Very good eye. I’m impressed.

Maybe bigger next year, but at some point they gotta go downhill, or die.

Yes sir, you are correct. And if he can find the offside it can be fixed. Or he can put it on the wall as is...

That deer won’t go downhill for several more years. Some of the best antlers show up in years past 8. But very few free range bucks see those ages. Unless there’s a drought next year that buck should be a real stud.

For sure, I’m not saying he needs shooting. I wouldn’t and I’m sure they won’t so maybe we get to see him next year.
