Son’s First Deer Part II

Good thing about having twins, I get to see this twice! Not to mention I have a 5 year old boy too. Anyways, took the second born twin out this evening. We went in the morning with the crossbow again. We got some doe in to 30 yards, but they got spooky and left. He was pretty bummed out of course. I told him we would go again in the afternoon, but would take the .243 being it was youth weekend. It was a great hunt. He got behind the gun 3 different times. Of course the deer didn’t want to cooperate with him. Which of course led to a lot of frustration. Luckily a doe came back in late. He got on her and squeezed off a shot.

Awesomeness Dad, really good stuff. Can't imagine the challenges and opportunities involved with twins.
