What do you consider must haves for a skinning shed?

Got the finishing touches on mine done this weekend just time for deer season. I welded up a swing arm jib arm for my winch/game hoist. Cleaning table and sink.

if you can swing it, a walk in cooler is real handy to be able to age meat. Makes a ton of difference in flavor imo

That’s next on my project list. Either a real walk in or framing one out and installing a coolbot

Not quite a shed or barn, but it works.

Red Snake, I can't see the lights, but that is sweet set up.

Normally use the big ol mesquite tree by camp.

There was a chance of rain this day - so the tractor didn't mind sharing for a bit:

Here’s my shed, well if you count the old outhouse in the corner as a “shed”

Deer not being caped hang head up so I can drag the hide off with my truck and no gutting necessary. Hogs don't work the same way, it makes a mess.

Very nice setup!

Ours is mobile. We just hang them from the hydraulic arms on the hay truck and skin them in the field.

We moved up in the world, bought some 4X4’s and found a winch. Sink and slab were already there for a fish cleaning area.

Ours is just a lean-to on the side of our barn. We have a gambrel attached to a cable and hand crank. I'd like to make some improvements when we get out there permanently. For now, it serves us well.

I built this cleaning rack for my place in OK, and I finally got to try it out this week.
