Deer Processor between Bridgeport and Runaway Bay - 01/16/21 01:32 PM

Anybody ever use this processor, think it's a gunshop up front with cooler and processing out back. Have bee curious as to their pricing, product and most important quality. And no, I don't process my own harvests. Thanks for input.

There are about a half dozen older threads on this place. —-> One thread

I wouldn’t use them.

We just picked up a deer from Bridgeport. This is the first time using them so I can't comment to quality yet.

DQ there is a processor/taxi. on hwy.16 just north of Rock Creek on the east side of #16. This use to be Doc's liquor store. Just make sure you tell them to put the hamburger meat in socks. You can tell them you know me.

DQ we used some ground for spaghetti last night it was typical ground venison, it looked good and tasted good my daughter said that she found 2 hairs in it but I've had that happen at more costly processors, heck I've done it processing my own deer at home. The jerky has a good texture and chew the flavor is ok but I like my jerky hot. I'm going to cook some sausage links this weekend and will have more to report.

The price was like $140

We got 5lbs of jerky
10lbs of sausage links
backstraps butterflied
and ended up with about 24lbs of ground
