Best way to contact land owners? - 11/11/20 04:49 PM
What is the best way to contact a land owner? I would like to make contact with a land owner that borders our lease. If for no reason other than to be able to track downed animals that might end up over there but I would also like to ask if they are willing to lease it to us. I dont want to come off as pushy and scare them away

Leave your number on the gate. If they want to talk to you they'll call.

I have had good success by finding my neighboring landowner's mailing address on the county appraisal district website. Kind of old school sending a letter in the mail but it has worked really well for me with both of my neighboring landowner's. Include your email address and cell phone number in your letter and they will nost likely at least send you an email.

Wrote a letter to my new neighbor that lived out of town just to introduce myself. Got an immediate response. Address from tax roll.

In ziplock bag, On the gate, on Saturday morning, with what you are wanting. Ask that he call you. On a Saturday you may even get a response
from the people leasing his land to hunt.
