Obviously being facetious There are a bunch of bruisers up in Okie land. That is an odd looking rub, it is so low and confined to such a small area, usually they extend further up
Years back there was a video with Ben Lee and some others that showed very large antlered deer rubbing some very small thin saplings, and some small spikes rubbing much larger trees. The tree size doesn't always tell the truth about rack size
I put a camera on the 4th tree on this rub line...so we'll see who's taking on these 10" diameter cedars!
Back in 93 or 94 I put a trail camera on a large Bumelia tree in the Hill Country. In about a weeks time I got 11 different bucks rubbing that tree and the largest was a 4 yr old 125 class 8pt.
I put a camera on the 4th tree on this rub line...so we'll see who's taking on these 10" diameter cedars!
I played a trick on my old hunting buddy, took a shed and made big rubs all around his hunting area He just knew he was going to get the big one, well did not happen but had good laughs about it later
