Lived in NB for four years, and saw some giant bucks in and around town. Saw one of the biggest bucks of my life just north of town off 46 during the rut. His nose was buried up a doe’s hind end.

My wife and I were going to Wurstfest a couple years ago and had a big 8 point run right by us as we walked toward the venue. Could have tackled him if I was a steer wrestler.

Hell of a buck

I saw an upper 150 - low 160 buck last year on the way home between NB & Seguin less than 100 yards off the hwy.
There are some great bucks for sure on that side of IH35.
At one of our construction sites last year there was an 8 that was easily mid 140s and a 10 with a kicker that was all over 160...….both living in 20-30 acres of brush within spitting distance of hundreds of homes! Neither buck was over 5 years old either it appeared to me.

Budy of mine shot an 8 in the 140's last year, probably about the same area.
