I am going to lease a place in northern motley county went and toured the place and the mule deer were there but did not see any whitetail my concern is numbers will be very low, any info to what I can expect would be appreciated.

Your concerns are correct for a lot of that area up there. Lots of mulies and a few whitetails. There are some areas that still hold quite a few whitetails but typically more mule deer in that area. Whitetails I have seen from that area can be pretty big though.

The terrain will be the determining factor for WT. If you have mesquite flats you will have them....if you are cedar breaks and undulating red dirt/caprock it will be MD.

thanks for info gonna be majority of mule deer then which I figured just was hoping whitetail would be there as well
