72 hours of quiet time - 12/07/19 12:13 PM

Got out to the lease for a little mid week hunt while the lease was empty. The best 72 hours ive spent in a while. Here's a few of the boys that stopped by while I was there.

Time well spent. Those are beautiful deer and good age structure. Your management plan seems to be paying off. What part of the state is the lease in?

We are out between Fredericksburg and Llano, have hunted this little gem for 30 years. Have seen lots of changes come and go but cant beat the scenery.

Are deer still coming out at dawn and dusk? Is rut in December as well?
I’m new to hunting deer. Using a crossbow and looking for information to help so I’m not out hunting when I will see nothing. I got two does during tag days. I want to get my first buck at age 35! I’m retired Army and just need some insight. I do use the meat I’m not just out for sport.
