Foggy morning

In the blind in Shackleford county. 30 degrees and no wind. Fog just won’t lift. 6:45 had a big bodied deer in the pen at 100 yds. So foggy I couldn’t see horns with the binos. Tried seeing him through both rifle scopes. Must have caught movement as I looked through the second scope he was gone. Feeder spun at 7 and he didn’t return. Had a doe and her baby come down the road and stopped wher I had hand thrown some “apple” flavored corn. They weren’t interested and went into the trees. 2 weeks ago the pigs tore up that corn. 8 now and can still barely see the feeders.

Cold crisp morning, sitting in the deer blind on a Saturday morning, Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits warmed over the Buddy heater with some hot coffee...life is pretty good!

Heated up my son's breakfast. All I have seen was a barely legal 8 I just rattled up. Very weird for this stand. Montague county. We haven't shot anything this year.

Nice. You're very industrious. I had my heater on my tennis shoes, it smelled like a chit house door on a tuna boat.

I wrap my food in aluminum foil just so it heats evenly. Works like a charm.

Thats hilarious. I melted the top of my coffee mug today!! Almost suphacated!!
