Wyoming whitetail - 11/15/19 08:40 PM
We both have Type 3, additional whitetail, tags for the area the ranch is in and up above town here on the NF.
Spouse went up this morning to do a little hunting for a nice "meat buck".
He rattled up this buck from his bed. Hunting at about 8,000 ft elevation with just enough snow for a good drag out, about 300-400 yards to the road.
We're thinking a nice 3 1/2 year old.
It takes about 15 minutes from the house to this part of the NF, nice easy drive when the roads are good.
Looks like we'll be going back up in the morning for my hunt.
We haven't had whitetail meat in freezer in a few years, certainly looking forward to it.
