Got drawn for the antlerless/spike hunt on Gus Engeling WMA for mid-Dec. Hoping it takes care of providing the burger deer I need for the freezer.

Good luck, not a lot of deer #'s shot there at that WMA, like that every year.

Just curious, how many years have you been applying for a drawn hunt and how often do you get selected? I started applying 2 years ago and have yet to get lucky! Hoping to get picked on one of the youth draws for my son.

This was first year to really put in for many, as I've only applied for 2 or 3 once every couple of years before now. Me and the wife put in for about 40 hunts and we have been selected for 4 so far, as well as a USNF doe tag
