Had this limb cut today that was weighted down touching the house. Looks like another bumper crop of water oak acorns this year. Every little limb is loaded like that.

I have seen some on a few Live Oaks but have not checked off the roads yet. They were small here though. Not as many as last year so far. I have had a good Persimmon crop, a few Mesquite Beans are about to drop in several years and then a lot of brush made seeds this year. So not hurting for mast crops overall. Just acorns last way longer than the rest do.

I had about the same think in Montague County; too many for the trees to support. When the heat hit, they started dropping them. I'll probably still have a lot.

Persimmons are off the hook this year. I don't know what they did last year, I didn't have the place then.

Persimmons were down last year on my place. Having a bumper crop this year.
Acorns are good this year.
Wild pears are good this year.
Pecans are below average.
Sand Plums were great this year (they end around July 10th).
Blackberries were great this year (end right after the sand plums).
Wild cherries are looking good so far (birds usually get them).
