Liquid vs Gel Scent

Liquid vs Gel Scent - 08/12/19 02:01 AM

Read an article in one of the hunting mags today that touted the advantages of using gel scents instead of liquid. According to the article, the gels are easier to apply and last longer.

Any truth to this?

TIA

All I use is soap and unscented deodorant, no cover ups at all. Just a clean body.

My approach at scent control has always been to never hunt a stand when the wind wasn't in my favor.

I've always viewed scents, along with grunt and bleat calls, as equating to trying a different lure when catching bass. You just never know when it might catch the attention of something that's in the mood to chase after it.

The only scent cover I believe in is "Ever calm". I used the gel stick with good results, going to try the liquid this year. Gel is easier to apply to boots, not as messy.

Me too, but add in a grunt tube and some rattlin' antlers.
