President's Island Tennessee Deer Hunt

I know it is a long shot, but any other Texans on THF who put this high trophy potential weighted
lottery for this hunt? It's hard to find friends willing to stay committed as long as it requires to build points to make some of these out of state primo draws. With 7 points I am probably within 5 years of being able to go. It would be nice to find another Texan who has similar points who would be interested in partnering up on that hunt for when the time comes.

just found out yesterday my group of three drew the Ensley unit hunt with 9 points. Looking forward to the hunt, we live in Arkansas.

I was surprised to draw this year with the number of people who had 10+ points. I guess a lot of them were waiting on the Island hunt instead of applying for Ensley. From what I've read they are very similar in trophy potential / number of deer
