I'm the new guy here, so I definitely don't have any context to place flounder's posts in. I'm not panicked, but I want to be aware. CWD has affected me, if for no other reason transportation, as I regularly hunt out of state and transport deer. I'm counting and it's kept me from brining 28 shanks home to my kitchen this year alone. I started out taking a detour through Mississippi and Louisiana with my first couple of deer back in October, but I'm sure with the five dozen positive tests just across the state line in TN in the last few weeks that's not going to happen again.

Flounder is no expert. There are many others on this site with more knowledge on the subject. A used car salesman can talk to you about open heart surgery but it doesn’t make him qualified to give medical advice, nor is it evidence of any real knowledge on the subject matter at even the slightest degree of expertise.

I guess I'm coming into the game very late, I've just seen the links flounder has posted and haven't seen where he's given advice. I see a lot of conflicting information from people I respect on both sides of the issue which leads me to belief there are more unknowns than knowns at this point.
