Pigs tried to eat my deer

Crazy thing happened
yesterday evening...shot a doe and was waiting until dark..

A sounder of medium sized pigs came in

I was packing up to leave when I looked they were all around my deer

Got the binos out of my pack and they were trying to eat it!

Grabbed the gun and sent lead!

And Nancy Pelosi says I dont need an AR to hunt deer with!

BTW, pigs and deer do not like the 87g Vmax sent by my 6mm Creedmoor!

I’ve had that happen one time, many years ago. I also solved the problem with lead.

Was hunting with my AR10 and I had shot at the range yeaterday and had like 3 rounds in the mag
I thought about adding more rounds but blew it off as I was deer hunting

I killed a pig yesterday morning and two more this morning.

Love this gun

I left one of the last hogs I shot near my feeder and where the camera could still catch it. I was expecting coyotes to mess with it but when I checked cameras it was hogs that tore it up.

even farm raised hogs will eat about anything including humans

"back in the day" the mob would take people to hog farms to get rid of them they will eat EVERYTHING bones and all there will be nothing left

on The First 48 there was an episode where a "snitch" in Oklahoma was said to have been killed and taken to a place with a few hogs and dumped......turned out he had not, but it happens

there have also been incidents of hog farmers having an accident in the hog barn and being knocked out or other wise incapacitated and being eaten or partially eaten.....on an ag forum I read some people did not believe it would really happen, but some current hog farmers said you can go in the hog barn and sit down real still and after a bit the hogs will come and start pulling at your cloths and get more and more aggressive

We lost a deer left overnight once to pigs. The cold weather made me want to come back and look in the daylight. We found him but the only thing left was the head some vertebrate and the skin.

I knew some kids that had trapped a pig and put it in a pen. They were going out at night and shooting jackrabbits and throwing them in the pen with the pig for feed. That thing was mean and no one ever doubted that he would have eaten any meat he could have gotten his chompers on.
