Sounds like a good opportunity for youth to take a muzzleloader to the field.
Youth can use a rifle, extended youth season runs concurrent with muzzleloader season.
Yes sir. I know this may be splitting hairs, but a youth hunting a specific youth season must be accompanied by licensed adult. If a youth is hunting a general season (such as archery, general firearm, or muzzleloader) they are less restricted. Lets say, for example, a friend
has two or three, teenage children and also younger children who hunt. If this friend only had one of him, then participating in a muzzleloader hunt would allow the older kids to hunt while younger particpated in youth hunt.
