I like hunting on Black Friday.

Saw one day while opening gate.

I try not to venture past the wire on Black Friday. 'Had to step into the street taking out the garbage just now. That was scary enough.

In stand in Parker County. Nothing yet. Wind isn’t helping.

Heading to Coleman County shortly... Looks like a warm windy weekend...

On a side note, for some reason I dressed up to go hunting this morning.
Got on a nice sweater Nice jeans and adidas shoes.

We are hunkered down at the house to do some chores.

Bright skies, wind and big turkeys in Taylor County this morning.

2 hours of stalking the creek bottom brush this morning....no hogs, no deer, tracked a coyote but he busted me before I could get a shot. And then driving home a mile from the house there is a nice buck chasing a doe around next to the road. Figures.

Made it. Heading to the stand around 3:00 sure is windy, and warm

I gave up.

Table is set for the grande party.

Didn't make it today but will be up at 0330 to head that way.
