Is he past his prime?

Hey guys, this buck has me on the fence. I had him at 15 yards the other day while bow hunting and I couldn't tell if he was post mature or just a big bodied deer. Thoughts? His rack was bigger but still an 8 last season but he broke a main beam which kept him alive.

Doesn’t look like he’s hit his prime yet to me. But, if you have a history with him....

Still healthy looking big bodied deer.

I hunt in Goldthwaite, the summer growing period was HARD this year. Expect to see reductions or little progression this year.

Looks like a healthy 3 year old to me.

thanks guys. I can usually read my deer pretty well. This one just turned up this year with a scrawny rack and huge body and confused me a bit. He really sticks out from the crowd and I was needing some outside input. I appreciate the responses. He's not going to get messed with by me.
