All the rain I have had has many of the splitting open or sprouting now in Goliad County.

I don’t think the deer care if they’re “spoiled”.

Here are some photos from this morning of what a lot of mine are starting to look like, but like posted above...there are still a lot in the Live Oak trees.

90+% of what we saw on the ground on Monday in Fayette County looked like the last pic, with not much still in the trees. Only mentioning this here 'cause they've had more rain than we have over here east of the Trinity. IMO Doesn't take long for'em to rot once they hit the ground with rain on 'em.

Don’t have any where we hunt in far north East Red River Co.
