Need a place to hunt youth weekend best Lubbock to Midland area.

Doesn't look like I'll be going back to southeast Texas for youth weekend like planned. Trying to find a place to take my 7 year old boy. Looking for his first kill. Anyone have any recommendations for an area around Midland to Lubbock? Thanks
