I’m liking it. Our two stock tanks were bone dry September 1. The big one that catches the most water was totally full 2 weeks ago and the little one was half full. I bet the little one is full now.
I’ve never seen it so green out there this time of year.
Would be nice if Ivie would fill up.
How much rain have you had?

We've had just under 20" in September and we just passed 9" so far in October.

I know it would take a lot for O H Ivie to fill up but would be happy with a 20" rise.

Every creek between Weatherford and San Angelo is running water today. Maybe Ivie will ketch some this go around...

Twin Buttes has gone from 14% full to 26% full. At my house in San Angelo, more than 16" of rain from September through today. Ivie is catching runoff from both the Concho and Colorado, mostly the Colorado. Highland lakes are all overflowing. Llano has gone down some, but still up. Had a friend show me a video he took over the equalization channel on Twin Buttes showing water flowing from the North pool to the south and about 5' deep.
I'm not going to complain. I just keep remembering the old Llano County rancher's words "the next drought starts the day after the last rain".
(he also said "Remember the story of Noah and the flood in the Bible? We got an inch and a quarter out of that." and "This country needed rain 3 days after Noah got off of the ark.")
