I have the opportunity to come out and hunt in the Leakey/ Concan area for deer. Low fence free range deer.
Can anyone offer some information on the area? Realist size expectations on body weights and antlers on mature bucks?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just got back from Leaky today, good number of deer and exotics as well as hogs, most bucks will be average hill country bucks on low fence ranches 125 pounds and 125 inches will be a good buck.

We are just a bit north of you on the Divide, with a couple low fence places. Lots of deer. Can get 130s and 140s on good mature deer. We've seen 150s and a 165, but that's unusual.

Hunted north of Leakey last year. Some deer but mostly small. There are nice Axis and Aoudad.

I have land north of Leakey. This is correct. Bigger deer around Uvalde cty. More south Texas type brush.
