This morning, my lovely wife of two months ASKED if I needed to go hunting this weekend. This is my first hunting season and she has been pretty good at not getting upset and lonely when I leave her for the weekend or a random weekday. But to tell me she thinks I should go?!?!? SCORE. Come to think of it, now I am concerned. I may come home to a house full of rescue dogs or something. lol.

In all seriousness I am pretty stoked. I'm a sales manager at a dodge house in DFW and I work 6 days a week most weeks, so getting to shoot on down to the property for a day is pretty rare. I think doing the laundry and dishes and picking up dog sh*t last night contributed to the offer. lol

Congrats on getting married! She is definitely going Christmas shopping or having soemethng delivered to the house for you. My wife used to go hunting with me and now she doesn’t but doesn’t give me any problems about going whenever I want to go. Probably since I am stuck home 24/7 right now while I wait to go in for a corrective back surgery. We also have two hunting dogs and her parents live in the other side of the house so that probably is the reason why it works out so well for me. But she still tags along every time I go fishing and she owns just as many guns and fishing rods as me. Sounds like you married a great woman! Congrats again!

My wife new the deal when we were dating. When deer season came I was gone!!! Lol. Married almost 17 yrs now and nothing has changed! Lol. Just not her thing. That's cool. She did try though. I did get one of my target bucks this evening and she was just as excited as she always is for me. VERY!!!! Might have time to get to abiline now from NETX and try and score another! Lol.

I have been married almost 23 years and my wife has never discouraged me from going to the woods either hunting or just hanging out with my buds, as a matter of fact periodically she will encourage me to go!
