Time of Day for Success - 12/01/17 06:20 PM

Interested to hear the different times of Day you have killed your bucks this year. Mature bucks only, make it 3.5 or older. Let's do county, date, time of day. Will be interesting to see if there is a pattern.

Not this year, but my two biggest bucks were:
-6 year old 10pt killed at 3:30 pm in Kendall County
-4 year old 12 pt killed at minutes before 3:30 pm in Duval County

I guess doe don't count, where I hunt they are tougher to tag than the bucks... shot one at 6:00 this evening, hope I can get another one in the AM.. aim

Friday after Thanksgiving in Mason County my daughter shot a 5 year old 160" 8 pointer, one minute after legal light. 6:46 AM
Them bigger older deer get really dumb. We have never had a problem finding them.

All of biggest and oldest bucks were taken in late morning (after 10am) or early afternoon (before 4pm). It's as if they knew when most hunters would be gone, or before they get settled in.
