Had one of young crazy horns come through chasing a doe. I mean dogging her. He had 2 big spikes one side and 5 points on the other last time I saw him. He's maybe 2.5. One spike was missing. Lol. He had a helluva limp too! Been fighting. Might be a cool deer in a couple years!!!

Can't beat being at the lease. I chose to go to my land this weekend instead of the lease in west Texas. Didn't feel like messing with I-20 west bound traffic this weekend! So maybe I'll get my east Texas buck! Good luck in the am. I'll be tuning back in once I'm in the pop up and it's daylight!

Saw a monster!!at 200 yards while I was walking. He was Chasing a doe. Not sure how many points just know his rack was huge!!!! Going to grab a new pop up now to set up!!!! They are chasin good and I'll be able to see a lot of real estate!!!! Also saw a busted 8. Will be a good deer next year!

Sounds like a good idea, hope you can connect this evening. I'm changing locations also, Owen isn't gonna be able to make it and there are way to many folks in an area that doesn't get that much traffic... So its Tom Green county the rest of the weekend for me.

I'm hanging in franklin county. I'm liking this new set up. I was able to grab another pop up and get it set up. Got in about 15 minutes ago. Let's see what happens!!!!

Fairly slow this weekend, bowhunted this morning saw a young 7 and then a big 6 cull buck came in but did not give me a shot, he sensed bad news and left. He returned late this afternoon when I was sitting in my tower with my rifle and passed, but I will continue to try and take him with my bow.
