39 degrees here in Palo pinto co.
We spooked a mature buck on the road driving to the ranch. Nice main frame 10 or 12. Haven't seen him on our cameras
Got the doe decoy deployed with doe in heat between her legs. We shall see how it goes...

34 on the Jack/Montague border. Young 10 and spike just left feeder. Have 2 doe a couple hundreds yards out. Good luck everyone.

I had to come back to town for the day. Thanksgiving at Mom and Dads today. Then headed back to the ranch. Sure wish I was there now. Good luck, guys.

The deer were moving for me, lots of activity so far, nothing mature has walked in front of me. A little 4pt was chasing a doe until he caught a whiff of my decoy. Went within 10 yds of it, neverspooked him, he was intrigued

Went about an hour with no activity. Just had 2 doe come in. A young 6 with a limp joined them. Looks like an old bullet wound, ugh.
Back at it again. Going to test out the accuracy of the deer app. Says peak activity is now through 3:00. Going to make for a long afternoon in the blind. I did see a lot of activity this morning when the app said they would be moving. One young 8 pt cruising and 9 does. It’s like all the mature bucks are locked down, not like last year when they were chasing hard! Good luck y’all and back to rattling and rapping my knuckles!

Deer moved good in Milam county from 9 AM to 3 PM Bucks running does in middle of day

Good luck, should be a good morning. Acorns are thinning out. I haven't seen a deer on my place in Palo Pinto cnty. for 5 days. Yesterday morning 2 dogs were running everywhere through my wheat, looking for something.
Hunting v2.0 - it's obviously based on the lunar schedule. So for today - its indicating peak activity is from 2-4AM and PM. Wasn't good yesterday.
