Throckmorton buck destined for my freezer

I hadn't been in my blind half an hour before this little six pointer sauntered up to my feeder and started helping himself to my corn. I thought about letting him walk, but after anout ten minutes I started thinking about the year I passed on doe after doe after doe on ppening day, and never saw another deer the rest of the season. He'll look like a ten-pointer in the freezer, though.

My thinking exactly. My nephew grounded a nice eight pointer this morning. There are some nice deer out here for sure...just a question of patience and time!
