Are they already trained?

Got a few bucks and doe that come up and hit the bottom of the spin-caster before eating off the ground . Guessing on a near by property they eat gravity feed protein. Is that a safe assumption?
I do not have any gravity feeders set up for now, but am wanting to at the end of the season.

Don't let it run empty. They'll tear that motor apart.

Could be. Or it could be they like corn without the grit from the ground mixed in.
