Just got good reception. Great time with THF members great food and a bit of verve as. BTW Skinnerback has made me laugh so hard my guts hurt. And beautiful country down here. Great get away.

BTW we are having three events next year so far, axis doe, whitetail doe and the striped bass trip. In discussions with Skinner on referrals for a gulf fishing trip out of the Rockport area.

This was an awesome hunt with a great group of guys. The food was outstanding and my father and I really enjoyed this hunt. I started off slow on Friday only seeing one shooter that was a yearling and I let her walk as she was young and little. Pop's and skinner popped off and dropped two that evening which was awesome. That was pop's second deer he had ever shot and I really enjoyed the text back and forth hearing shots and phone going off saying deer down. The next morning I got busted right before first light by a doe blowing right by the stand and they all got the message fast. I did end up having a chance later Saturday morning with my first true shooter doe and I screwed the pooch. I replaced the scope on Grandpa's rifle and I could have swore I checked the base but I clean missed her. I really wanted to kill one with his rifle this trip but it wasn't in the cards as I screwed up and failed the rifle not checking that. The previous day the does would stage right before the feeder went off. They didn't yesterday and nothing showed. Dad had another down and I was not seeing anything so I texted Tyler to come snatch us up as it was done I thought. Sent text and a few minutes later I hear a doe blowing. Really bitch... Again... I peaked my head out and she was looking at me at 25yds. Grabbed the rifle, got off the chair and stuck it out on one knee. Aimed a little low and shot that nark in the GD shoulder with 168gr of .308. She jumped and died 20 yards away. It felt good but I really wish I could have used papaws 30-06. I shall now post some pics of this awesome adventure

Had some more action this morning lol. 2 days late and 2 dollars short lmao. Shot two coyotes one had the second hog from last nights leg in its mouth.

Unfortunately no. Savage FCP-10 McMillan. Stock rifle with a burris XTR II 4x-20 mil/mil. I need to add some new sticks this next year. I shot her off one knee on that bag at 25 yards. Got to get papaws 30-06 right again. I really wanted to kill a deer with that rifle.
