Which would be better?

I just started hunting in Llano this year and have a question about when would be the better time to take a vacation. I will be off the week of Thanksgiving, but have to work the weekend after (black Friday through Sunday nights). My question is would it be better to take vacation the week before or the week after? I would take the weekend, but someone has already spoken for it.

I hunted in Llano county for over 20 years. It always seemed as though the week AFTER Thanksgiving all of the bucks were gone. They didn't 'come back' until about the second week of December.
As we got our herd into more acceptable numbers, we all noticed the bucks chasing hard the week prior to Thanksgiving. It would start opening weekend or the end of October with the does having NO interest in the bucks until that 2nd week of November to the end of the first week of December.

Ha I think the week after is better only cause I end up seeing new bucks about then. So maybe this....

If you have one there now that you like and want to kill do before TG.
If there isn't anything special...do after TG in hopes a new buck will show.
