Anyone out in stand today??

im in stand and going to wait it out. Hope to catch something moving in between rain. May be wasting time but hey you never know when big boy will step out .

I'm late but I'm in the blind and soaked. It'll payoff one day....I hope

Been in the blind since 3pm yesterday. I could've shot a boar yesterday evening, but it was pouring rain and I wanted to stay dry. Two does came in after dark, and I haven't seen anything today.

I'm hunting out of state and also getting rained on pretty heavy. I moved to a pop up blind where I saw a pretty nice, white horned 8 point cruise a tree line yesterday.

Gotta young buck with a really screwed up rack at the feeder now. Maybe they'll start showing up.

Had a dozen or so does show up and a few young bucks. Got out late because the door to my truck was froze shut!

Wish I was out there with you guys!

I tried to get to one of my most accessible stands this morning. I made it through the gate turned right and spun out. Parked right there and hunted deer crossing a high line. Saw several but not where I wanted to get to

I tried, saw three doe (on the drive out there) now I'm going home to go back to sleep. Afternoons seem best for us. Good luck all

Jealous of those who are hunting. Debating whether I'll try at all this weekend. Hope the forecast is off a bit. 6 inches of rain will make my already soaked place like driving through a bowl of soup.

I'm headed out tonight. It's supped to rain all weekend but it's dang sure better than being stuck here doing house work. They gotta eat sometime!

Kenny, deer where moving good after 7am, watched a couple small bucks tear up my food plot for 20 minutes. We had 3.56" of rain from 10am yesterday, to 5am this morning. Was in the stand at 5:45 and nbot a drop yet since, but it is coming. 40* and getting cooler

I can't hunt today. Could tomorrow or Sunday but doubt I do. Maybe Sunday if they miss the forecast.

My place wasn't really dry from the rains last week. Over 3 inches likely washed my roads out even worse than they already were. May drive up there and just park on county road and try to hunt Sunday.

I might make it out in the morning if the rain stops. I have good grassy areas to drive on a little ways in. Beauty of only having 100 acres to hunt is, even if I can only get inside the gate, its less than a 15 minute walk to my stand.

I'll be leaving shortly to the ranch. I'm betting on there being some breaks in the rain and I'm sure there will be some deer moving when it does let up. Watched several move yesterday morning during the lite rain (yes, I had to drive back in for work this a.m.)

Me and my son are in the stand now been in here all morning got hot chocolate and coffee and about 75degrees in here been moving good all morning in the sleet and rain with 30mph winds. Still have some at the feeder, we are gonna sit all day packed lunches. Glad I have a samurai wouldn't of made the 45min drive across the ranch with out it. We are in Paducah. Good luck to everyone.

I'm planning on hunting tomorrow and Sunday I'm glad to see that yall are seeing some movement.. It's not heavy rain here it's just steady with a few breaks but I guess we will see!!.. Good luck

Didn't see much yesterday afternoon in the rain, but its much colder today and may turn to snow/sleet later. Thinking about heading out around 3 or so

I took my grandson and son-in-law out this morning. It was 68 degrees at 5:30. The front passed through at 7:00 and the temp started to drop. A pair of does showed up at about 7:20. Grand son took the first one down at 100 yards; and the second one didn't run very far, stopped, looked back to find her buddy, and the boy took her as well at about 60 yards! (He was using his HandiRifle in .243 Winchester.) SIL got skunked. Got both deer cleaned and to the processor in Brady by 9:30. The temp was 50 at that time. It's now 45 and continues to fall.
