Throckmorton Co.

I've been at our place the last 2 weekends in south Throckmorton county, and haven't seen any rut activity. Anybody close by see anything?

There chasing in Baylor county to your north.

I've been at the lease in north Archer county for 7 days already (took last wednesday through friday off) and haven't seen any sign of the rut. One of our guys shot a nice 10-pointer that was chasing a doe and another buck was chasing the same doe. The only mature buck I've seen was only interested in eating. So, I'd say its definitely not peak/chasing phase of the rut, but its got to be getting close.

Good deal, I probably won't get back out there until the weekend after Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed for some colder weather, not even the pigs are coming to corn with so much food available for them.

Seen some pretty good chasing in Stephens county last weekend. Don't think its full on but they are getting close. Can't wait to get back out there.
