Dang wasps made a come back after I killed them a few weeks ago nothing like sitting in your blind with them flying about

Just had a yearling walk within 10 yards. Had no idea I was here

I haven't seen any signs of a light rain this morning.

I called it a morning. It's coming down hard now. The thought of messing with a deer in this weather is a big no.

Skipped last night's hunt. It was still coming down strong here. One of the guys said we got 4.5 inches yesterday alone.

In blind now. 54 with about 10 mph winds.

I'm over in Chireno. Heard one shot already 5 minutes after legal.

There's been a few shots east of me. Nothing's moving but birds and squirrels

Big doe heading east about ten minutes ago. Couldn't get a safe shot.

Just heard a shot from that direction

We've only seen one turkey in the going on for years I've hunted here. You got a lot of em?

I've counted 18 in a group. We have a good population.

Single antlered buck came out to the feeder for a few minutes. Looked like a 4pt who lost the left side

Beautiful 8 with what looked like a 12" spread just came out.

Finally back in blind. Long two weeks. It's 54 and cloudy and had rained about a hour ago. Got into blind 20 minutes later than I wanted and forgot my binoculars back in the Jeep. Over slept

Young 4 point just came out and it started sprinkling with the wind picking up.

Take two. Super windy, but it's in my favor at least. Sun is up and it's 61 out.

The 4 point came out again right at sundown. With the binoculars I got a better look at him. He looks identical to a young 4 from a few years ago.

Last hunt for the weekend. 31 out, coldest yet, and a light breeze. Should be a good morning. Noticed my feeder hasn't gone off all weekend. Opening weekend I found the battery disconnected. Think it's time to run a camera again and catch the pos
