Back in high school I went hunting with a friend on his place, and a third guy tagged along. I shot a doe, as did the third guy. He proceeded to cut out the backstraps and head to town. I loaded the rest of his deer and took it home, couldn't stand to see it going to waste like that.
Small town Texas. People talk. I'd bet the GW's make an arrest pretty quickly. They're pretty good with computer forensics these days. They'll find the IP addy from the social media post and backtrack from there. The big shame is the laws on the books aren't nearly punitive enough in cases like this.

No one with me would ever dream of doing that, because they know I would knock them silly. Then call the warden to finish the job. That is wrong in so many ways.
