what I'm working with - 11/24/14 02:51 AM

Any advice to possibly see and have deer.

The creek has some H2o but never seen deer at any time when camera was up.

The blue is my boundry its super super thick woods.

Muti color lines show what way the few tiny deer have came to the hand corn.

From me to corn is max 20yrds
Any help or what not will be used ASAP

Thanks in advance

Add a feeder. Maybe a gravity feeder. Need to get more consistent on feeding. Hand throwing corn will get them to stop if they just happen by but will do nothing to draw them in your direction.

20yds is real close. Any way to back off a little more?? Can you open up a shooting lane?
Are you using a bow or rifle?

I was sitn to the right of the purple line where it starts to open up being right in line of bthe corn

I had a gravity feeder to start with nothing at all would come was there for a good 3months till about 2 wks ago .

I'm using a bow first time to really hunt with one. I'm confident at 30 rite now but better at 20 .

Everything from the got go has been at night only 3x at AM NI DOES AT ALL just small bucks and one pushn 13"

Do you have a blind or popup?

Re: what I'm working with - 11/24/14 07:11 AM

Neither I built 2 out of natural timber and branches.

I have never hunted from blinds nor pop ups lol weirdly always built so it wouldn't freak them out.. I do douse myself in scent killer and clothes stay outside when not wearing them

Its really frustrating almost makes me wanna let them wi . Bahahahaha

The problem with letting clothes stay outside is that they will absorb the odor where they are not where you are goning to be.

Is that the whole property, or just one side?

Considering I bow hunt in fresh washed clothes with tropical fresh detergent I highly doubt that him hanging his clothes outside is what is giving him the issues.

The bottom pic is of a small open just before the woods .

Its prob too late in season to set an area rite?
My area is still full of night runners no day time deer

No never to late. Do it during the middle of the day.. it has only been cold enough once this season to really make the deer move you got plenty of time

How many acres is this? It looks more like a pass threw area to me. I'd look for a game trail coming out of the thicker stuff and post up.

Nava --- I was thinking of a small tree stand too..

And I don't have a normal battery feeder just a nudge or a pile of corn..
